Muah AI Review & Pricing: The $9.99 Sale vs the List Pr

Muah AI vs GoLove.ai on Price, Media and Calls

Muah AI's storefront shows $9.99 a month in big type, with a higher price crossed out next to it. The number you actually pay depends on which official page you land on. That's the first thing to settle, and it's where this review starts.

Verdict: Muah AI is a fair budget try if you catch the $9.99 Basic VIP promo. If you're paying for photos, video and a companion who stays consistent, GoLove.ai is the winner. It lists a cost per image and per video, and you can ask her for photos right inside the chat.

Prices checked 2026-10; promos vary.

Joining GoLove is free, and browsing the roster costs nothing. New visitors currently get a limited-time −70% first-subscription offer, so this is the cheapest moment to see who's waiting for you.

Muah takes the cheap first month. GoLove takes the bigger prize: you know what your media will cost.

What Muah AI Actually Charges (and What GoLove Lists)

Renewal is where a promo price can bite. A $9.99 month only helps if you know what it turns into afterward.

Muah AI's Basic VIP and ULTRA VIP

• Basic VIP sale: the storefront shows about $9.99/month against a crossed-out, higher list price. Read it as a displayed promotional offer. We did not test eligibility or checkout.
• Plan page: a separate official plan-selection page starts at that higher list price, not the sale price.
• ULTRA VIP is where the real-time phone calls live.
• There's free chat, with message and media limits that depend on the account.

We couldn't confirm annual pricing or what the higher tiers cost.

GoLove.ai PRO, ULTRA and Stars

• PRO: about $119.88/year (about $9.99/month), or a higher monthly rate if you skip the annual plan. It includes 100 Stars, restored each billing month.
• ULTRA: about $59.99/month or $359.88/year (about $29.99/month).
• Star packs: from 30 Stars for $9.99 up to 3,000 for $299.99.
• Unit math: 1 Star = 1 image, 5 Stars = 1 video.
• Free accounts collect 2 reward Stars a day.

My feelings on Muah's pricing are lukewarm. The same plan shows up at two prices depending on the page. GoLove hands you the price list and the per-unit math, and I'll take that over a crossed-out number every time.

Prices checked 2026-10; promos vary.

Photos and Video: Where the Money Actually Goes

Paying for photos? Then two questions matter. What does each one cost, and does she look like the same woman the second time?

Muah AI: photos and video in the bundle

Muah generates photos and video alongside text and voice. We couldn't confirm a per-image cost or any quality limits, so there's no unit price to set against GoLove's. Check the plan page to see how media is metered on your tier.

GoLove.ai: ask mid-chat, same face every time

Here's how the request flow works. Say she's just told you she's out on the balcony, and you want to see it. Tap the media button, choose Send Photo, and describe the scene in your own words. A photo of that same character lands in the thread in about 20–45 seconds, for 1 Star. Her face and body match her avatar and her earlier photos, which is the part that matters if you care about her being her. Under the photo, Generate Video turns the scene into a ~5-second clip in about a minute, for 10 Stars.

PRO's 100 monthly Stars cover roughly 100 images. At the listed 5-Star rate that's about 20 videos, though in-chat clips and 720p videos run 10 Stars each. That's a budget you can plan around. And your first photo of her is about a minute away.

On photos, GoLove delivers a price per picture. Muah gives you the feature, but we couldn't pin down a number.

Calls on Muah's ULTRA VIP, Series on GoLove

If live calls are non-negotiable for you, check the tier before anything else.

Muah AI: real-time calls on ULTRA VIP

Credit where it's due: Muah offers real-time phone calls. They sit on ULTRA VIP, the top VIP tier, and we couldn't confirm what that tier costs. The $9.99 promo is for Basic VIP, and we couldn't confirm that Basic VIP includes calls. Read the plan page before you assume you're covered.

GoLove.ai: voice on PRO, plus Series to start

Voice messages and calls come with PRO, and every character message has a voice playback button.

Series is the bigger draw, though. These are GoLove's own short 18+ dramas, and as of 2026-10 there are 5 series and 32 episodes. Each episode is a 60–100-second vertical video with subtitles in 9 languages. Episodes 1 and 2 of every series are free to watch, even without an account. "My AI Girlfriend," starring Lexie, runs 7 episodes. From episode 3 onward you need PRO plus a few Stars per episode.

Under the player you'll find:

• Start Chatting: opens a chat with someone from the cast
• Create Image and Create Video: make your own media of the cast
• Follow Series: new episodes every week, per GoLove

On Muah, calls are a top-tier upsell. On GoLove they come with PRO, and Series is a free way in.

Building Your Own Companion on Each App

This is the one section where Muah earns a real point.

The short version: GoLove.ai puts live voice calls, memory and photos on request in one chat, and its image generator adds 35 realistic poses and 21 outfits. You also get 2 reward stars every day you log in.

Muah AI: editable descriptions and community imports

You can edit a character's personality and appearance descriptions directly. You can also browse community characters and import them. If you like starting from someone else's build and tweaking the text, that's genuinely good. We couldn't confirm how deep its memory goes.

GoLove.ai: Create wizard and Design with AI

The Create wizard opens with a Female/Trans toggle and three categories: Realistic, Anime and Trans. Design with AI is the faster route (and the one I'd point most people to). You describe her in up to 2,000 characters, and in about a minute you get a named character with her own @handle, a written bio and a portrait. It runs about 3 Stars, and new characters start out Private.

Once she's built, Memory keeps your chat history and relationship progression grows over time. ULTRA adds an 8,000-message smart memory.

For another build-your-own option, see our full Nomi AI review.

Muah is better for borrowing someone else's character. GoLove is better for building one from scratch who remembers your history.

What We Couldn't Verify About Muah AI's Plans

Most pricing pages leave this part out, so here it is plainly.

On Muah AI, we could not confirm:

• whether the $9.99 Basic VIP sale applies to every account or region
• what ULTRA VIP costs
• whether annual plans exist, and at what price
• the exact free-tier message and media quotas

GoLove.ai gets the same caution. Its prices are approximate and vary by region and promo. We couldn't confirm ULTRA's monthly Star amount, and while the new-user −70% offer is labeled limited-time, we couldn't confirm an end date.

Before you pay either one

• Checkout total: read the final number on the payment screen, after region and taxes.
• Renewal price: find out what the plan renews at once the promo ends.
• Tier unlocks: confirm that calls, media and memory are in the tier you're actually buying.

A promo is fine. Just know what the plan renews at.

Muah AI Pros and Cons Next to GoLove.ai

Side by side, the strengths and weak spots look like this.

For another way to save on a rival app, see our guide to OurDream AI promo codes.

Muah's cons come down to pricing we couldn't pin down. GoLove's come down to paying for extras, and at least those extras have a price tag you can read first.

Who Each One Is Actually For

Verdict box

Pick Muah AI if you want to try the $9.99 Basic VIP promo, you like importing community characters, or ULTRA VIP's real-time phone calls are specifically what you're after.

Pick GoLove.ai if you're paying mainly for photos, chat and a companion who stays the same person across messages, pictures and clips. You see the cost per image and per video before you spend. In-chat requests arrive in under a minute, voice is already on PRO, and Series is a free on-ramp.

Choosing a GoLove plan by usage:

• PRO: for chatting most days and asking for photos. The 100 monthly Stars cover about 100 images, and the annual plan brings it to roughly $9.99/month.
• Star packs: for months that run over, from 30 Stars at about $9.99.
• ULTRA: for 8,000-message smart memory, stronger models and a discount on Star refills.

Prices checked 2026-10; promos vary.

You can also skip scrolling and describe exactly who you want. Design with AI turns that description into a named character with a portrait in about a minute, ready to chat.
